She Woke Up Married is a very funny comedy with a serious side that addresses post-partum depression and psychosis.
Twenty-five percent of new mothers will experience some form of post-partum depression that goes beyond the baby blues. As one of those women, I was extremely pleased to see how well Suzanne was able to weave this into an entertaining story.

Turner Pruitt is an Elvis impersonating reverend operating a Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas when the girl he had a friendship with and crush on in high school stumbles into his chapel.

Paris James is a famous model who just finished a fashion shoot and over celebrated her 30th birthday in Las Vegas. With a reputation for being the typical self-absorbed model and by those close to her know her as a PMS powder keg. Paris has worked to stifle her painful childhood from everybody in her glamorous life. Only Turner knows the truth about her troubled past and is determined to help her find healing.

After too much champagne and being totally Blowin' In The Wind, Paris is aware enough to be All Shook Up by A Big Hunk of Love behind the pulpit and is seeking A Little Less Conversation. Reverend Teddy Bear recognizes the girl to be the Angel that's Always on My Mind and wants more than one night of Do Not Disturb.

After waking up at Heartbreak Hotel, The Hard Headed Woman is determined the Hawaiian Wedding Song needs to be annulled. Tuner understanding that Paris is still A Bridge Over Troubled Waters is determined to convince her You Belong in My Heart for As Long as I Have You.
