Things Remembered
What does God want from you?
He wants you to believe that He is, who He says He is.
He wants you to believe that He will do, what He says He will do.
He wants you to choose to love Him, and be a part of His family.

The Bible: Myth or Fact? by Catrina Rudd
If there really were a God that created everything, wouldn't He be someone so complex that no one group or organization would be able to know all the answers?

There is no one book, story, hidden archive or belief system that possesses ALL of the answers.
However there is substantial evidence for a person to investigate, that is if they are intellectually honest and genuinely open to discovering the Truth.

Anything that is solid and true will stand up to
scrutiny, criticism, investigation, enemies and time.

Somebody that uses "I have faith" as a reason to not investigate the facts is a fool and weak in their faith.
Doubt and discovery are basic ingredients to faith.

Believing something just because somebody told you so is a big mistake in any endeavor, especially this one. Tying your thinking or salvation on what somebody else firmly believes could give you false foundations that will effect you for all eternity.

Make the effort to discover Him through the evidence that's been left behind. But if you find it overwhelming and not sure where to look next, feel free to go to the source.

If you genuinely want to know if God is real and if you called out to Him to show you the Truth about who He is, then if He were real wouldn't he be big enough and self assured enough to answer back to you?

It's the state of the heart that matters not the words.
A simple, "I don't know if you're real. But if you are, show me  the truth I need to know."

If you do this, are humble and open to discovery, you'll receive an answer. An answer that you will have no doubts was from Him. He would know what's important to you and will catch your attention. Don't be surprised if He shows a sense of humor.

Once he does reveal Himself to you then you have some decisions to make.
Will you continue to work at knowing Him better?
Will you trust him with your life on this earth?  For eternity?
Will you live your life in a way that's pleasing to Him?
We each have the responsibility to discover
for ourselves if God is real and who He really is.
