Nurse Jamie's Botox Diaries: Real Stories From A Fake World may be a longer title than most of us can spit out, but I promise you it's a fully loaded leisurely read. Great for anytime you are looking for something light and entertaining.
It's not the hard sell on Botox that I originally expected. Jamie Sherrill R.N. aka Nurse Jaimie does explain Botox as well as other medical cosmetic procedures without all the medical jargon. Quite honestly it's probably time Maggie considered having a few things done. Now that I have Nurse Jamie's book in hand I'm better prepared to ask the right questions and make those decisions.
Here in Aggieland we care about keepin' up our looks, but good gravy! Those folks out in LA LA land take it to extremes. They have things done, that I can't even tell you about, you'll just have to read it for yourself, then you still may not believe it. But it sure will make for interesting talk at the old watering hole.
Nurse Jamie hasn't written one of those scandalous tell-alls, but with discretion and respect for client privacy she does take us behind the closed doors of Beverly Hills elite medical spa. Most everybody that walks in the door is only there for a--facial. Wink. Wink. As Hollywood's elite won't admit to having anything else done and probably wouldn't admit to being a patient. Nurse Jamie tells fascinating stories of the great lengths celebs go to in order to keep their beauty secrets secret.
Botox Diaries, is not all laughs. Jamie shares Kleenex grade stories of how her work has helped individuals overcome emotional devastation from medical conditions and acts of violence. Her own early life, ugly duckling experiences have well equipped her with the compassionate heart to follow a line of work that enables her to help others.
Not only has Jamie Sherrill used her recommended treatments on herself and looks like she belongs in Hollywood, but her accomplishments include a long list of acting credits to boot. After reading Botox Diaries you'll realize she's a small town girl at heart and would fit right in with us Aggies. I for one, wouldn't mind havin' Nurse Jamie as a fence neighbor.
I do personally recommend this reading, but only for adults, as it does contain graphical descriptions and mild language.
